Prior To The Cap Of The Mayor Of Blitar, 5 Thieves Removed 3 Satpol PP Who Guarded The Office House

BLITAR - Mayor of Blitar, Santoso and his wife had experienced confinement by five thieves who broke in. Before entering, these thieves paralyzed three Satpol PP guarding the official residence of the Mayor of Blitar.

Blitar City Police Chief AKBP Argowiyono explained that the theft occurred around 3-4 am. The perpetrators allegedly amounted to 4-5 people. They went through the side door of the Blitar Mayor's official residence and committed violent theft.

During the action, the perpetrators arrested three members of the Blitar City Satpol PP who were on guard at the official residence. After paralyzing the guards into the official residence.

Then, the perpetrator met with the Mayor of Blitar and also detained the Mayor of Blitar Santoso and his wife inside the house. They threatened and asked to show the location of the storage of valuables.

In the action, the perpetrator also destroyed CCTV installed in the official residence. The perpetrator took away money and jewelry belonging to the wife of the Mayor of Blitar with a total value of around Rp. 400 million.

The police chief said that the condition of Mayor Blitar and his wife is currently still traumatized by the incident. However, there were no serious injuries on their bodies. Only a few injuries when the confinement occurred.

The police have already processed the scene of the case. Even the team from the East Java Regional Police also helped investigate the case.

"It happened in the morning at around 3-4 am there was information of violent theft at the official residence of the Mayor of Blitar," he said in Blitar as quoted by Antara, Monday, December 12.
