TKDN Already Pocketed, The Samsung Galaxy S21 Will Soon Be Launched To Indonesia
JAKARTA - Samsung will certainly bring its newest flagship smartphone to Indonesia. Even the product suspected of being the Samsung Galaxy S21 has met the requirements to be marketed in Indonesia.
The requirement is in the form of passing the Domestic Content Level test. The indication is a certificate numbered 1985 / SJ IND.8 / TKDN / 12/2020, dated December 16, 2020, on the P3DN website of the Ministry of Industry.
There are code names for three devices in the certificate, namely SM-G991B, SM-G996B, and SM-G998B, each of which meets the TKDN requirements with a content level of 32.7 percent.
From the leak that appears, the SM-G991B is the code for the standard version of the Galaxy S21, the SM-G996B is the Galaxy S21 +, while the SM-G998B is shown for the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Seeing this, it is likely that the Galaxy S21 will soon explore the Indonesian market. To note, Samsung will indeed introduce the cellphone series in January 2021.
Interestingly, this launch is faster than the usual launch of the Galaxy S which was held in February. Reports circulating on the internet suggest that Samsung will embed the latest Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 888, but there are those who say that the Galaxy S21 will be powered by the manufacturer's Exynos 2100.
And surprisingly, because Samsung plans to delete its Note line, the Galaxy S21 will be equipped with several features from the Galaxy Note such as the S Pen stylus.
However, the bad news looks like Samsung will follow in Apple's footsteps. This South Korean mobile manufacturer is rumored to be selling the Galaxy S21 without a charger and earphones in the sales box, like the iPhone 12.
This is evidenced by the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series certification document issued by the Brazilian certification body ANATEL. It is written that the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra cellphones will not be sold with a charger and earphones.
