Residents Of Gambir Jakpus Complain About The Construction Of Binary Selling Places In The Park Area Because Of The Potential For Environmental Maritime Affairs

Residents of RT 011/06, Cideng Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta have complained about the construction of a permanent selling place in the temporary location (Loksem) of the JP 47 kiosk belonging to the Central Jakarta Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Sub-dept. (PPKUMKM).

Timothy Solihin (32), a resident of RW 06, complained that the existence of the kiosk was considered very damaging to the environment. The reason is that at that location there is a park commonly used by local residents.

"We residents do not prohibit selling places, but do not permanently (make kiosks). They should trade in mobile or use carts," he said when confirmed, Sunday, December 11.

Timothy was afraid that in the future their environment would become dirty because of the large number of traders selling.

"Because food waste in the canal, plus a lot of parking vehicles will disturb residents," he said.

Timothy said that this problem had also been heard to Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD. In this case, Commission B provides advice on restoring the original function of the area.

"Obviously the DKI Jakarta DRPD commission B stated that if you want to solve this problem, return it to its original function, walk for people on the road, sidewalks for pedestrians, parks for parks," he said.

Residents hope that this development will be returned to its original state.

"If it is made, this permanent construction will damage public facilities, construction of stalls on roads, sidewalks and waterways," he said.
