The New Adventure Of Andika, Ex The Titans With Mikhaila
JAKARTA - Hearing the name of this group reminds us of the name of a woman. Mikhaila is a pop rock band that has just launched a single titled You'll Be Mine.
The band is fronted by Fatmanda Bachtiar (vocals), Rinald Ngalungi (guitar), Rendi Risandi (guitar), Andika Naliputra (keyboards, guitar), Ali Hudiyanto (bass), and a drummer who has a pseudonym, Reza.
The song You'll Be Mine, which is in English, is the work of guitarist Rendi Risandi and raises the theme of hidden love and adoration for a lover who is not openly expressed.
Even so, there is a sense of optimism that one day you will be able to have a lover even if you have to wait a long time.
The name Mikhaila is inspired by the angel Michael, whose main task is to provide sustenance to all living things on earth. Because it didn't fit the name, Mikhaila finally chose the name by adding the letter A behind it.
With the name Mikhaila, it is hoped that it can bring goodness and blessings to all parties who have supported them in their musical journey.
Mikhaila was formed on December 21, 2012. Initially, the band consisted of three members, namely Manda, Andika and Risky. Risky then resigned from the band and preferred to work at a television station.
While Manda later married and had children, Mikhaila decided to take a hiatus. It was only later that Mikhaila re-formed with a new formation and launched this single after Andika left his previous band, The Titans.
Andika announced his departure from the band he had formed 13 years ago through uploading a video on his personal Instagram account. Andika revealed that he had not joined the popular band through the song Rasa since the first day of this year.
"There are a lot of problems, from something that I feel is unfair, my schedule is what makes me often clash now with The Titans, because I have tours and travels, so I often travel abroad too," said Andika in the video.
"It could hamper the band itself. Finally I decided to resign in a good way," he continued.
However, the 39-year-old man said the relationship between himself and the other five members of The Titans; Indra, Rezcky, Tomtom, Onny, and Imot still have to work together.
"I still support @thetitans_id 100% until now. Keep going, new fans! Love you guys always !," he concluded. Check out the video below:
