Chicken Egg Traders In The Malabar Market, Tangerang Complaints, The Rising Price Of Omzets Is Decreasing
TANGERANG - Ahead of the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays, a number of basic food prices have increased. This happened because the supplier raised prices, so that traders also adjusted the price of selling eggs to chickens.
One of the traders at Malabar Market Suryani (32) said the increase in chicken prices had occurred two weeks ago from the previous IDR 35 thousand per kilogram. The current is IDR 40 thousand.
"Going up, mas, now 40 thousand. From the previous 35 thousand," said Suryani when met at the Malabar Market, Tangerang City, Friday, December 9.
As a result of the increase in chicken prices, Suryani admitted that she had decreased turnover. He hopes that the government can adjust prices before the Nataru holiday.
"The government wants the price to be appropriate, so that the buyers don't get this quiet," he said
In line with Suryani, Hesi (38), a chicken egg trader, also complained about the price increase of Rp. 3,000. Hesi said, initially 1 per kilogram of eggs for Rp. 28,000, now it is Rp. 31,000 per kilogram.
"Yes, mas, it has increased since two weeks ago, so it's 31 thousand. Previously it was still 28 thousand," said Suryani.
Hesi also revealed that the increase in egg prices made consumers reduce the number of purchases. What usually buys 10 kilograms, now is only 8 kilograms.
"Those who shop are usually noodle stalls. They complain that the price is that much. They are also confused about it, it's for food processing. It's confused if it increases the price. But because of the need, it's bought," he concluded.
