Air Cables On Tole Iskandar-Siliwangi Street Have Begun To Be Moved Underground
Depok Deputy Mayor Imam Budi Hartono officially lowered the aerial cable along Jalan Tole Iskandar-Siliwangi. The decline was carried out after the relocation period of the aerial cable underground, which was completed on November 24, 2022.
"This effort was made to organize the Tole Iskandar-Siliwangi Road so that it would not appear chaotic. We, from the Section of Development Administration, the Depok City Public Works and Spatial Planning (DPUPR) and the Association of Indonesian Telecommunication Network Providers (Apjatel), carried out a decrease in aerial cables. This activity was also witnessed directly by the cable owner operator," said Imam while participating in the reduction of aerial cables on Jalan Siliwangi, Thursday, December 8.
Imam said the cable reduction was carried out in stages. Today, seven of the 31 cables have been transferred, the rest are still in process.
"Yes, gradually. Hopefully it can be completed on time, according to the plan. We appreciate Apjatel and telecommunications operators who voluntarily relocate cables for the beauty of Depok City. Please note, this activity is Non-Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD)," explained Imam, quoted from the official website of the city government.
Meanwhile, the Head of Depok City DPUPR, Citra Indah Yulianty, said that the Construction Development Sector has an important role in the supervision and arrangement of this aerial cable. There are several technical work that must be ensured so that everything goes according to plan.
"In every job we do monitoring. Thank God the work, which has been carried out since July 15, 2022, is going according to plan and has not missed the target. We have carried out everything according to the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP)," he concluded.
