Playing In Pinggir Kali, An 11-YEAR-OLD Boy In Cakung Went Missing In The Flow

JAKARTA - A minor was reported to have been swept away by the current of Kali in Pedaengan Village, RT 015/08, Milling Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, Thursday, December 8, afternoon.

The victim, known as Danu (11), was reported missing at around 17.25 WIB. At the time of the incident the victim was found wearing a blue shirt.

"According to witness testimony, the last victim was seen near the taxi pool. The search is still being carried out by 5 rescue personnel from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Gatot Sulaeman, Thursday, December 8.

The incident occurred when the local area was hit by heavy rain. The victim was seen by the witness playing on the side of the river, then slipping and falling into the river.

"Previously, residents who saw it were helped, but could not be helped," he said.
