When The Kemenkumham Building Caught Fire, Minister Yasona Was Not In The Work Room
JAKARTA - Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Yasona Laoly was not at the location when the Kemenkumham building caught fire. This was conveyed by the Public Relations Coordinator of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) Tubagus Erif. Yasona is on duty outside the office.
"Mr (Yasonna) is on duty outside regarding Immigration," Tubagus told reporters in front of the Kemenkumham building area, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Thursday, December 8.
Regarding the affected items, Tubagus ensured that no important documents were burned. It's just the office stationery (ATK) that caught fire.
"Alhamdulillah, it's just old items (burning) like ATK that are no longer used," he concluded.
Not long after, the fire broke out on the 5th floor of the Kemenkumham building, South Jakarta. Acting Head of South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Sugeng said as many as 26 fire engines were deployed to the location. And the fire has been successfully extinguished. "Alhamdulillah, so far there has been no information about casualties. All have been sterile," he said.
