Apple Music Sing Launched, Users Can Karaokean With Family
JAKARTA - Apple is now entering its music business by presenting karaoke mode dubbed Apple Music Sing. Users can sing their own favorite songs or duets with other people.
Apple Music Sing will be available to all Apple Music subscribers worldwide, on the new iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV 4K.
However, this karaoke mode will not be available to low-Parliamentary Voice customers who will only work with Siri.
Basically, Apple Music Sing shrinks the volume on the track which is supported directly from the lyric page. Here, users will see a new icon that looks like a sparkling microphone with a volume slider on it.
Apple says the new karaoke mode will support tens of millions of songs. To help novice singers and band covers follow the song, this karaoke mode will feature animated lyrics that dance to the rhythm. The vocal part sung simultaneously will also be enlivened by animation to make it more prominent.
There is even a duet display that shows many vocalists in a song on the opposite side of the screen, so users can invite friends or family members to join.
Although the new karaoke mode will attract existing customers, the fact is that Apple is late for a karaoke party. The competitor, Spotify, has launched a singing feature together recently.
"We already know that our users around the world like to follow their favorite songs, so we want to further develop this offer to allow more engagement around music through singing," said Apple vice president for Apple Music and Beats, Oliver Schusser.
"It's very fun, our customers will like it," he added.
