Pertamina Forecasts Pertalite Consumption When Nataru Rises 4.5 Percent

President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Alfian Nasution estimates that there will be an increase in LPG fuel and gas consumption during the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.

He estimates that pertalite consumption will increase by 4.5 percent.

"Pertalite sales are normal as much as 80,569 kilo liters per day and are estimated to reach 84,275 kilo liters per day during Nataru," he said in a RDP with Commission VI DPR RI quoted Thursday, December 8.

He added that LPG consumption will increase by 2.5 percent, kerosene 0.8 percent, pertalite 4.5 percent, Pertamax 2.9 percent, Pertamax turbo 18 percent.

For this reason, Pertamina will alert 114 fuel terminals, 23 LPG terminals, more than 7,400 gas stations, 667 SPBE, 4,972 LPG agents and 68 DPPUs.

"We make sure the stock during Nataru is safe, LPG stock is around 16.75 days, kerosene stock is 79.27, pertalite stock is 16.92 days, Pertamax stock is 42.14 days, Pertamax turbo is 51.15 days, diesel stock is 20.85, stox Dexlite because this is a mixture of 1.99 days, stock is dex 59.43 days, and stock is avtur 30.32 days, "explained Alfian.

Citing data from the Ministry of Transportation in 2022, Alfian revealed the potential for community movement during the 2022 Christmas and 2023 New Year holidays as many as 60.64 million people.

He added that the prediction of the flow of homecoming for the Christmas holiday occurred on December 23 to 24, 2022, while the peak flow of the new year's holiday occurred on December 30 and 31, 2022.

"For land, it is estimated that 24.87 million or 40.9 percent versus total. Meanwhile, bus mobilization is around 7.97 million or 13.1 percent of the total," he continued.

Regarding the formation of the Nataru Task Force, continued Alfian, it will take effect from December 15 to January 8, 2023, involving the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Transportation, BPH Migas, Police, Jasa Marga, TNI, and PT Telkom Indonesia.
