Mbappe Will Transfer To La Liga, Real Madrid Become Potential Goals
JAKARTA La Liga president Javier Tebas believes Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Kylian Mbappe will join the Spanish club in the near future.
The claim was conveyed by Tebas when speaking with journalist Marca, Mario Cortegara. If the claim is true then Real Madrid will be the most likely destination for Mbappe.
"Mbappe will come to Spain, [but] is not sure whether this season [January] or next season [hot season]," Tebas said as quoted by Sportskeeda, Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Mbappe came close to joining Real Madrid after his PSG contract expired last summer. However, he refused to move to the Santiago Bernabeu ahead of the closing of the transfer market and chose to renew his three-year contract.
The new deal is reportedly worth 250 million euros and is authorized in the decision-making process at the club. However, he is now predicted to leave the Parc des Princes in early 2023.
The France international did not seem happy because the club was deemed to have broken promises. He is also said to be dissatisfied because PSG did not expel Neymar Jr. since the end of the 2021/2022 season.
Until now, Real Madrid is still associated with Mbappe even after his contract with Les Parisiens was renewed. Moreover, Los Blancos are trying to find a replacement for Karim Benzema.
Benzema won the Ballon d'Or last October, but now he is 34 years old. Therefore, Los Blancos must start planning to find their successors.
Benzema is currently still injured. The problem forced him to miss the French squad at Qatar's 2022 World Cup.
