Share Anti-Semitic Materials In Social Media, Kyrie Irving Dipak Nike

JAKARTA - Sports market giant Nike has terminated the contract of NBA star Kyrie Irving. This is the aftermath of Irving's act of sharing antisemite material, namely prejudice or hatred against Jews.

Previously, Nike only suspended his relationship with Brooklyn Nets guard. However, in the end they decided to terminate the contract in full.

Please note, Irving shares social media links with a book and film featuring antisemites. This made the Nets also "increase it" last month.

The 30-year-old returned to the pitch on November 21 after a long process of remediation. A process that drew criticism from many spectators.

The cooperation agreement between Nike and Irving will actually end in October 2023. However, this case makes Nike no longer produce Irving's collection shoes.

The company said it was "deeply saddened and disappointed by the situation". They later canceled the release of "Kyrie 8" sneakers.

"Kyrie is no longer a Nike athlete," they said in a statement to ESPN.

Irving spoke up. In his tweet, seven times the NBA All Star said: "Anyone who has spent the money they have worked on for anything I've ever released, I consider you a family and we're forever connected."
