BOGOR - The Bogor Resort Police, West Java, have taken action against a suspect with the initials L who is suspected of committing the crime of trafficking in persons (TPPO) in the form of providing illegal services for recruiting female workers (TKW).
"In the course of the case, the reported L has been named a suspect, and we have detained the suspect", said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bogor Police, AKP Yohanes Redhoi Sigiro, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, December 6.
He explained that the initial exposure of the illegal service provider for TKW dealers located in Parungpanjang District was when one of the victims reported it to the 110 services. "Because they were interested, the four victims contacted the personal contacts of the initials A and D. Then they were directed to meet the reported person with the initials L in a housing complex in the Parung Panjang area", he said.
