Starring Ezra Miller, The Flash Movie Changes Release Date

JAKARTA - The Warner Bros production house has again changed the release date of the film The Flash. This time they will advance the release date from the previous schedule.

Initially The Flash was planned to hit theaters on June 23, 2023. Now they are turning the release date to June 16. It is not yet known whether this is the release date worldwide.

Apart from that, the release of this date seems to justify that Ezra Miller is still trusted to lead The Flash. After various controversies experienced, Warner Bros. is said to have considered many things related to Miller's role in this film.

In August, the actor released a statement saying he had a mental disorder.

I just understand now I have complex health problems and started treatment. I would like to apologize to everyone affected by my actions," said Ezra Miller's representative.

"I am committed to returning to work so that I can quickly be healthy, safe, and productive," he continued.

Apart from Miller, Ben Affleck has been confirmed to play Batman and Sasha Calle in this film. The Flash was also in danger of being canceled after the Ezra Miller case.

This is a big investment and the last thing Warner Bros. wants this film to be revoked. But if this film is saved, of course, it will be a loss for them," said Gary Rosen as an expert on public relations.

"I think they want this film to be released. And because this film is scheduled to be released in June 2023, they still have a lot of time," he said.

The controversy over Ezra Miller began in 2020 when he strangled a woman in a bar. He is also accused of approaching a girl and keeping a mother and three children in a house full of weapons.

In early August, he was reported to have committed a robbery after allegedly stealing at a house in May.

Ezra Miller remains as Barry Allen in the film The Flash which airs from June 16, 2023.
