BPBD DKI Calls There No Land Land Land Land Land Land Report In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) said that it had not received reports of landslides at 10 vulnerable points in Jakarta.

"So far there has been no information on landslides in Jakarta, it is still monitored safe," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Disaster Data and Information Processing Unit, Michael Sitanggang when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, December 6.

Michael said that currently the rainfall condition is still relatively normal, not yet to the extreme rain stage.

"This means that there is rain but the intensity is not too heavy and the duration is short. Until now (the movement of landslides or landslides in Jakarta) is still nil," he said.

However, the DKI Jakarta BPBD appealed to the public to remain alert from an early age regarding the warning information.

"The mitigation that we are currently doing has conveyed early warning information through websites and social media. Then we have coordinated with the lurah and sub-district heads, especially those in vulnerable areas with our rapid reaction team," he explained.

Previously, the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) appealed to the people of Jakarta not to panic regarding information about early warnings of potential landslides at 10 points in the South Jakarta and East Jakarta areas.

Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Disaster Data and Information Processing Unit, Michael Sitanggang, stated that his party issued early warning information regarding the potential for ground movement so that people could anticipate it from the start.

"The point is that people don't need to panic about this information. Because of this information, we are aiming for it in the context of community preparedness. So that people can anticipate it from the start," explained Michael Sitanggang when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, December 6.
