Crowds Of Supporting Rizieq Shihab Come To The Police Station, Bogor Police Chief Suggests A Pre-trial
CIBINONG - Bogor Police Chief AKBP Roland Ronaldy suggested that the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) who took action at the police station took legal steps, namely filing a pretrial.
"We are a state of law, yes, there are rules of law, there are legal channels, if you are not satisfied with the legal process, please pretrial. That's all there is already a domain, everyone knows," said Roland when met after the Pilkades evaluation meeting, in Cibinong, Bogor, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 16.
He considered that the FPI mass demonstrations that were carried out in several police offices in the Bogor Regency area were still monitored as conducive.
"Alhamdulillah, it is still conducive, yes, they conveyed their aspirations," he said.
Roland advised the FPI masses who continued to carry out demonstrations on the reaction to the detention of FPI Leader Rizieq Shihab, to keep meeting the standard health protocol for preventing COVID-19.
"Just the health protocol, it's now a pandemic, the situation in Bogor is still red, all parties should understand that without exception," said Roland.
However, he admitted that he did not hesitate to take action against the mass action participants who did not heed the health protocol rules.
"If there is an interest, yes, there can be a medium, it doesn't have to be a large mass. If crowding has consequences, COVID-19 is increasing, there are laws, aspirations go ahead. COVID-19 is not a fairy tale, but it does exist, "continued Roland.
