Jambi Police Chief Disbands Peaceful Action Of Islamic Alliance Protesting Police Protests Protests Shooting Of FPI Laskar
JAMBI - Jambi Police Chief, Inspector General Albertus Rachmad Wibowo, dismissed the peaceful demonstration of dozens of people who were members of the Jambi Islamic Community Alliance who conveyed their aspirations to the Jambi Regional Police. The masses voiced their aspirations regarding the shooting of six FPI Laskar members that took place at the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
Dozens of people from the Jambi Islamic Community Alliance who held a peaceful demonstration at the Jambi Police Headquarters, Wednesday, December 16, initially proceeded according to the rules and they have conveyed their demands to the Jambi Police Chief, Kombes Dover Christian, to be conveyed by the National Police Headquarters.
However, after the crowd held a prayer to close their peaceful action, the Regional Police Chief, Albertus Rachmad Wibowo, suddenly came to meet the protesters and asked them to disperse, because the time according to the agreement was up to rally in front of the Jambi Regional Police Headquarters.
The Regional Police Chief ordered his members to immediately urge the dozens of people to disperse from the Regional Police Headquarters immediately, because it was feared that there would be a large crowd for a long time so that it was feared that they could spread COVID-19 during this pandemic.
"I ask my friends to immediately disperse and return to their respective residences, and we have accepted our aspirations to be conveyed to the leadership later," said Albertus Rachmad Wibowo, quoted by Antara.
In a peaceful demonstration that was held by the Jambi Islamic Ummah Alliance, which used two cars with quite large loudspeakers, conveyed its demand to the police to solve the shooting case that killed six FPI troops that occurred in Jakarta, so that it could be transparent and nothing was closed- cover the case and enforce the law without selective logging.
Then the Jambi Muslim Ummah Alliance promised that if these aspirations were not conveyed, they would come to Jakarta to convey directly to the Police Chief.
After conveying their aspirations, the masses who had been urged to disperse by members of the Jambi police finally disbanded in an orderly manner, and the peaceful action proceeded safely and in an orderly manner even though it was marked by an order to disband from the Kapolda.
