Minister Of Energy And Mineral Resources Reshuffle Of SKK Migas Leader, Dwi Soetjipto Permanent Head

JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif replaced officials of the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas).

The inauguration activity is a follow-up to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia number 51/M of 2022 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Head of the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Bum Business Activities and the implementation of the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 284.K/KP.05/MEM.S/2022 concerning Dismissal and Appointment of Leadership Positions in Special Task Force for the Implementation of Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities.

In his directive, Arifin conveyed that SKK Migas together with Cooperation Contract Contract Contract Contractors (KKKS) continue to strive to increase national oil and gas production, among others, by drilling development wells, massive workover and well service activities and making various efforts and breakthroughs so that oil and gas production can achieve the target of the state budget or even exceed the target.

Arifin requested that the oil production target be accelerated to reduce imports, so that the government has wider space to finance renewable energy development, which is a priority in the energy transition.

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources also reminded all SKK Migas leaders and employees to maintain integrity and not abuse their authority and be committed to carrying out their duties for the benefit of the organization, in order to make a real and optimal contribution to the nation and state.

In addition, in the current situation and conditions, all ranks of SKK Migas need to have a sense of crisis towards the environment.

The inauguration of leadership officials in SKK Migas is also an implementation of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation number 2 of 2022 concerning Organization and Work Procedures of Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities.
