Persib Players Must Report Weight Once A Week
JAKARTA - Persib Bandung coaches not only instructed their players to undergo independent training, they also required Supardi and his friends to report their weight once a week as evaluation material.
"Every player reports their weight at the beginning of the week, Monday in the morning," said Persib nutritionist Gilang Fauzi as quoted by Antara from the club's official website from Jakarta, Wednesday.
In addition, food intake is also important to pay attention to so that physical condition and fitness are maintained. To outsmart, all Maung Bandung players are provided with detailed nutritional requirements.
Interestingly, said Gilang, each player was given different nutrition according to their individual needs. That way, the self-training report will be arranged according to the expectations and targets of the trainers.
"During this independent training, my players provided data on nutritional needs. Each player is different, starting from carbohydrates, protein, fiber, fat and minerals," he said.
From the reports of the last few weeks, Gilang said he was satisfied with what the players were doing. He also hopes that all Persib players can maintain this positive until they come together again.
"From the results of weight checks every week, there is no significant decrease. This means that all players remain disciplined in carrying out a good diet," he said.
Previously, Persib players began to be given measured independent training in recent weeks so that their fitness and physical condition were in ideal condition. Initially the players were only instructed to practice independently without any detailed direction from the ranks of the coach.
That way when the competition has started there is a bright spot and the players will be gathered again, then the team's preparation for the match will not take a long time and it only remains to adjust.
