Hundreds Of SAR Personnel Were Deployed In Warung Sate Shinta And Kampung Cigendil Search 11 Victims Of The Cianjur Earthquake

The joint SAR search and rescue team focused on searching for 11 missing victims buried by landslides due to the earthquake in two locations, namely Warung Sate Shinta and Kampung Cigendil, Cianjur Regency, West Java.A number of joint officers came from the Bandung Search and Rescue Office, Polri-TNI and various other agencies, including communities and volunteers."Today the joint SAR team continues to carry out the search with a focus on 2 work sites," said Head of the Bandung SAR Office, Jumaril via a written broadcast in Cianjur, Antara, Friday, December 2.The personnel deployed at two search locations, namely in Warung Sate Shinta as many as 161 personnel, then at the Cijedil location it was divided into two search locations, namely point one as many as 156 personnel and involved four sniffer dogs, then the second team 139 personnel and four sniffer dogs.The search for the twelveth day had been carried out by an assembly for personnel preparation and operational standards for work instructions led by the Head of the Operations and Alert Section of the Office of the Sar Bandung Supriono, attended by the Operations Director of Basarnas Brigadier General TNI (Mar) Wurjanto, and the Head of the Office of Sar Bandung, Jumaril.In his remarks, Basarnas Operations Director Wurjanto encouraged all joint SAR teams that would carry out the search for missing victims and appealed to the entire team to continue to maintain health and safety.The joint officers involved were 120 Basarnas personnel and 581 TNI, Polri personnel and potential SAR which were divided into 555 personnel, logistics and public kitchens as many as 13 personnel, 13 medical personnel.In addition, there are also 15 sniffer dogs ready to be deployed to conduct a search, then 49 medical ambulances and bodies were alerted.Reports from the Bandung SAR Office from the Cianjur Earthquake Disaster Management Main Post recorded 329 deaths, 11 people are still being searched.Furthermore, there were 114,414 victims who were still in the refugee camps, and 654 were seriously injured and are still being treated at the Cianjur Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
