YOGYAKARTA - The best performing figures this season have been nominated for the prestigious 2022 BWF Player of the Year award. Intipin nominations for the best player BWF 2022, let's!
The annual award ceremony will be held on Monday 5 December in conjunction with the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2022 gala.
Nominations were selected based on performances in the 2021/2022 season from November 1, 2021 to October 31, 2022 and acknowledged the achievements of the players and pairs of elite badminton and our badminton in 8 categories.
World champion and Olympics Viktor Axelsen, 2021 world champion Loh Kean Yew, and Asian champion Lee Zii Jia are three nominations for Best Male Player of the Year, while world number 2 An Se Young competes with world champions 2021 and 2022 Akane Yamaguchi, and No. 4 world Tai Tzu Ying for Best Female Players this year.

Pair of The Year
Pair of the Year category will be competed by Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik, Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan, Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong.
Best Player of the Year will feature four competitors: Thomas Cup hero Prannoy HS, Open Japan champion Jeong Na Eun/Kim Hye Jeong, and four-time winner on this year's circuit, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

Male Para Badminton Player of The Year
At Para Badminton, the BWF Awards Commission provides a special allowance for the BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2022, which ends on November 6, to be included in the list of eligible tournaments.
There are three categories of awards, with six nominations each, and featuring several Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games gold medalists including Daiki Kajiura, Cheah Liek Hou, Pramod Bhagat, Lucas Mazur, and Sarina Satomi.
