A total of 12 methamphetamine dealers in Boncos Village, South Bambu City Village, Palmerah, West Jakarta, did not move when arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Palmerah Police. The dealers were arrested while fast asleep, Thursday, December 1.
During the raid, the Palmerah Police again deployed sniffer dogs. One by one the buildings and huts, which are usually used as places for the methamphetamine party, were raided by the police.
Several stalls that were allegedly deliberately made to be used as places to smoke methamphetamine were dismantled by officers. The stall is on an empty field. In addition, several rented rooms which are also suspected to be rooms for methamphetamine dealers were also checked.
From one of the rooms, officers found so many methamphetamine equipment. Meanwhile, the occupants of the room seemed to be fast asleep.
The police conducted examinations in cupboards, shoes, and places that were allegedly used as places to put the illicit goods. When examined, a used bottle and a bong suction device were found that was still attached. Allegedly recently used.
The man was then woken up by officers. He was immediately handcuffed and then taken to the Palmerah Police along with evidence of methamphetamine suction devices and two sharp weapons.
"Yes, the man is suspected to be a dealer. But we will investigate first, we will develop it, because no evidence of methamphetamine was found, only a suction device and a knife," said Palmerah Police Chief AKP Dodi Abdulrohim at the location, Thursday, December 1.
The police also arrested 12 other people who were involved in the distribution of methamphetamine at the location. From the raid, several methamphetamine suction devices, sharp weapons, small plastic clips, and other evidence such as cellphones were secured.
"Today we encourage all urine tests. If it is positive, even though there is no BB, we can rehabilitate it," he said.
