ASN At The OKU DPRD Secretariat Is A Suspect In Subsidized Fuel Hoarders

JAKARTA - The Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Police, South Sumatra named YY (47), a member of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the DPRD Secretariat as a suspect in subsidizing diesel fuel hoarding (BBM).

"Currently, the ASN person has been named a suspect along with five of his subordinates. So there are a total of six suspects in this case," said Head of Public Relations, AKP Syafaruddin in Baturaja, Thursday, December 1, as reported by Antara.

The police found as many as 57 35 liters of jerry cans containing diesel fuel as a result of casting at a number of gas stations in Baturaja City by five of their subordinates.

"Currently, we are continuing to examine the six perpetrators to reveal the possibility of other suspects being involved," he said.

Previously, the ranks of the East Baturaja Police arrested five perpetrators of misuse of diesel fuel type at the Air Paoh gas station, East Baturaja District on Tuesday (29/11) at 11.00 WIB.

The five suspects who were caught red-handed while filling diesel fuel repeatedly at gas stations using the modified four-wheeled vehicles were RO (23), EF (20), DA (22), RA (21) and DA.

After being interrogated by officers, the perpetrators admitted that their action was carried out on the orders of the suspect YY (47), the owner of a vehicle belonging to Jalan Bangau, Sukajadi Village, East Baturaja District.

In addition to arresting the suspects, he said, the police also secured evidence of one unit of dump Rino trucks with red BE-9747-AD, a red dump truck Dyna E-8824-FE, a yellow PS 120 BG 8358 FO truck and a red Panther BG-1976-FS used for'scoring' oil.

"The six suspects are threatened by the Oil and Gas Law with a maximum imprisonment of six years and a fine of Rp. 60 billion," he said.
