Company Performance Is Getting Better, PLN President Director Achieves The Excellent Leader Of The Year Award

JAKARTA - President Director of PT PLN (Persero) Darmawan Prasodjo received the "Excellent Leader of the Year" award at the 2022 Top Executive Award.

This award was obtained by Darmawan because he was considered successful in leading PLN in the midst of a pandemic and was able to adapt to technological advances.

Based on Top Executive Index 2022 research and assessment, Darmawan is considered worthy of the Top Executive award with his success in developing the company in the following categories, Digital Corporate Brand Awareness Aspect, Revenue & Revenue Growth Aspect, and Nett Profit & Profit Growth Aspect.

The CEO of Tras n Co Indonesia, Tri Raharjo, said that the transformation carried out by PLN is an important key in encouraging the company's performance.

By digitizing the system, he assessed, not only will the company's performance increase, but also customer service as evidenced by the rating of the PLN Mobile application.

"We hope that in the future PLN will provide excellent service for its customers. Because every individual in Indonesia is a PLN customer. Hopefully, PLN's performance can continue to be improved," concluded Tri.

On the other hand, the President Director of PLN, Darmawan Prasodjo, is grateful for this award considering that during the PLN pandemic there were also various challenges, ranging from decreasing electricity demand to energy crises.

However, said Darmawan, thanks to the transformation carried out over the last 2.5 years, PLN has remained able to deal with these various situations.

"We are digitizing the system. So that our entire business process becomes compact, fast, and monitored. In the process we also carry out efficiency, innovation, and collaboration with various parties," he said.

Thanks to this transformation, PLN was able to record the best financial reports in history.

With sales revenues reaching Rp. 289 trillion, reducing the Basic Cost of Production (BPP) by Rp. 15 per kWH, and tax contributions increasing by Rp. 5.7 trillion.

"Today's PLN is much healthier with a much more reliable electricity system, a healthy financial system, and very satisfying customer service," he said.

For customer service, PLN Mobile is a very prominent application because it has been downloaded by 35 million customers with an application rating of 4.8.

"Through PLN Mobile, we present an easy and fast service application. We are doing all out of this struggle for one goal, namely providing the best service for all Indonesian people," concluded Darmawan.

The 2022 Top Executive Award is an award for the company's leader with the best performance in leading his company.

The award, which was initiated by Infobrand.id and Tras n Co Indonesia, is the assessment criterion referring to the commemoration of revenue, profit, and the company's positive image.
