Checked For 6 Hours, Bogor Regent Answers 50 Police Questions About Rizieq's Activities In Megamendung
BANDUNG - Bogor Regent, Ade Yasin, has finished undergoing an examination. Ade Yasin answered 50 questions from investigators from the West Java Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate regarding the crowd case in Megamendung, Bogor, during the Rizieq Shihab activity.
Ade Yasin left the West Java Regional Police Ditreskrimum Building at 16.06 WIB after six hours of questioning by investigators since 10:00 WIB.
"Regarding the crowd case in Megamendung, there are about 50 questions and I have answered all of them," he said, at the West Java Regional Police, Bandung, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 15.
Regarding the investigation, he stated, they had never issued a permit to Shihab in Megamendung, Bogor, on Friday, November 13.
"Because at that time there was no notification, so we also could not give permission, whatever the official letter, we replied that it did not exist," he said.
In addition, according to him, so far there has been no specific cluster for the spread of COVID-19 in the Megamendung area after Shihab's activities, which allegedly gathered 3,000 people.
According to the Regent of Bogor, the number of COVID-19 cases is fluctuating as usual. Ade Yasin cannot explain the correlation between the increase in COVID-19 cases in the region and the crowds of the Islamic Defenders Front.
"Every day it fluctuates. I have not seen any correlation with the (crowd) case," he said.
