Henri Cavill Injured In The Middle Of Filming The Second Season Of The Series The Witcher

JAKARTA - The main character of The Witcher, Henry Cavill, suffered a leg injury at Arborfield Studios, London, England.

Launching NME today, Tuesday, December 15, Cavill was found injured during an attack scene in which he was standing above a height of six meters.

Cavill plays the character Geralt of Rivia who works as a monster hunter. Even though it is said to have suffered a minor injury, he must rest until his condition recovers. The production of the second season of The Witcher series continues.

Previously, production of The Witcher had to be postponed after several crew members were confirmed positive for COVID-19 in August and November. They postponed the shooting process twice, so it was difficult for Netflix to determine a release date.

The Witcher is a Netflix original series that follows Geralt of Rivia, Crown Princess Ciri, and Yennefer of Vengerberg as they explore their characters. The first season tells of Geralt of Rivia, the character of Henry Cavill who is told to become a monster hunter in order to survive.

The three characters have a relationship with each other and in this second season the story will continue.

The Witcher has become one of the most popular British Netflix series worldwide. Even the Netflix began to invest specifically for the continuation of this series production.
