Unlike Their Original Game, Reason The Witcher Will Become An Open World Game
JAKARTA - CDdit RED recently announced that it was making a remake of The Witcher along with Pool's Theory, a newly founded third-party studio led by former developer Witcher.
There is no additional information regarding the details of this remake. To be sure, this project with the code name Canis Majoris is being developed using the Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) technology.
But, recently through a fiscal report published by CPR, there was a slide dedicated to the remake of The Witcher, although it did not reveal much detail.
CPR revealed that the title will be a "modern reconstruction concept" of the 2007 action RPG, and will be a single open world RPG player driven by the story.
The open world concept of The Witcher is something new, considering that the original title is not an open world game, this series does not adopt the open world structure until The Witcher 3 which was released in 2015.
In addition to The Witcher Remake, CD▁suratat RED also has a number of other Witcher projects being worked on, including a new trilogy from The Witcher.
Meanwhile, The Molations Flood is also working on an "innovation" in the universe with Project Sirius.
