9 Victims Of The Cianjur Earthquake Still Missing, SAR Focuss Search In Cugenang District
The joint SAR team continues the search for nine victims of the Cianjur earthquake who are still missing today.
"The search for victims of the Cianjur earthquake, especially in the Cugenang sub-district," said Head of the Bandung SAR Office, Jumaril in Cianjur, West Java (West Java), Tuesday, November 29, confiscated from Antara.
Jumaril said the joint team continued to search three areas, namely Warung Sate Sinta with 36 personnel, five sniffer dogs and four life detection officers or life detectors.
Then the Cijedil Village area in Cugenang District involved 74 personnel, four sniffer dogs and four life detector personnel.
Finally, in Cicadas Village, Cijedil Village, Cugenang District, 81 personnel were deployed, two sniffer dogs and four life detector personnel.
Jumaril appealed to residents who lost family members and relatives to report through the SAR complaint number 0813-1616-3355.
In addition to SAR activities, joint officers also distributed logistical assistance in the form of tarpaulins, family packages, toddler packages, rice, and mineral water using two units of Helly Dauphin HR-3604 in Talaga Village and AW139/HR-1301 in Sarongge.
Previously, joint officers found the bodies of two victims suspected of being children and fathers in RT03/RW01 in Cijedil Cugenang, Cianjur, West Java, Monday, November 28.
Based on information for nine days after the earthquake, Basarnas recorded 703 victims of the Cianjur earthquake, 73,693 refugees, 323 people died, and nine people were being searched.
Previously, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 occurred about 10 km southwest of Cianjur Regency, West Java on Monday, November 21 at 13.21 WIB.
The epicenter of the earthquake was on land at a depth of 10 km at coordinates 6.84 South Latitude and 107.05 East Longitude.
