Gran Turismo 7 Developer Consider For Release Of Game On PC
JAKARTA - Sony's plans to expand its game presence on PC have been significantly visible starting from the release of God of War: Ragnarok, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, and others.
Apparently, the expansion is still continuing for other titles that have not been officially announced such as Gran Turismo 7.
Speaking in a recent interview with GT Planet, Polyphony Digital boss and serial producer Kazunori Yamauchi said that Gran Turismo might be entering the PC.
"Yes, I think so," said Yanauchi when asked if the Gran Turismo franchise could follow in the footsteps of several other PlayStation franchises and see PC launches.
Yanauchi even added that they would narrow the platform because not many platforms can run games in 4K/60p resolutions natively.
"Gran Turismo is a very fine-tuned title. Not many platforms can run games in 4K/60p natively, so one way we do is narrow the platform. It's not a very easy subject, but of course, we see and consider it," he continued.
Earlier this year, PlayStation Studios boss Hermen Hulst said Sony had plans to release the title of first-party live service simultaneously for PC and PlayStation going forward.
So, the premium flagship title will arrive on PC at least one year after the game is released on their console. Currently, Gran Turismo 7 is available on PS5 and PS4.
