Zidane Emoh Reveals The Key To Madrid's Resurrection From Adversity

JAKARTA - Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is reluctant to explain how his team got back up in a number of matches last week. However, Real players could fall again if they failed to focus.

The La Liga champions have picked up three convincing wins in their last three matches. Los Blancos grabbed a 2-0 win on Saturday over leaders Atletico Madrid, having previously won the Champions League decider with Borussia Moenchengladbach on Wednesday and beating Sevilla.

Real Madrid host Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday to reclaim their best form while ensuring they reach third place in La Liga, three points behind Real Sociedad and Atletico, and into the last 16 of European competition where they face Atalanta.

"Nothing has changed, we are continuing to work hard every day and we want to continue to do what we are doing," Zidane said in a press conference quoted by Antara from Reuters on Tuesday.

"We know we have to always be the best team on the pitch but the opponents are also playing well and sometimes it's not easy to face them all the time. We're a great team and have to be consistent. As far as we've done, nothing has changed."

The coach says football is more unpredictable today than it was in the past, such as his team's lack of consistency this season following poor results in shock defeats by Cadiz and Alaves and two defeats to Shakhtar Donetsk.

"Sometimes you have difficult moments in a game. Maybe 15 or 20 years ago there were always favorites, but today was not like that," he added.

"We want to win every game but sometimes you have to learn how to overcome the difficulties."
