Basarnas Evacuation Of British Dead Bodies From Ternate Forests
JAKARTA - Basarnas Ternate, North Maluku (Malut) evacuated the bodies of foreign nationals from England found in the forest of Kastela and Jambula, Ternate City.
"When officers received a report on the discovery of the body from the British State named Andrew Fredrick Herbert (77) immediately moved to the LKP to check and carry out the process of evacuating the bodies," said Head of Ternate Basarnas Fathur Rahman in Ternate, Saturday, November 26.
Information from local residents, the male victim was a British citizen, who was found by local residents around the Jambula Village Jurang.
The victim stayed at Villa Marasai, and the incident on November 24, 2022, residents have been searching for two days.

The Rescue Team moved to LKP and carried out an evacuation. The victim's body was then taken to the Chasan Boesorie Hospital for identification by the North Maluku Police DVI Team.
Meanwhile, a week ago, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of West Halmahera Regency, admitted that nine people, seven of whom were foreigners from Germany who were declared missing in the Halmahera forest, were reported to be safe.
Head of BPBD Halbar Regency, Muhammad Ade Fabanyo stated, nine residents who had lost contact in the Halmahera forest, two local residents along with seven foreigners are currently communicating with Basarnas.
Based on a report submitted by Basarnas Ternate on Wednesday last week, nine residents were missing in the Halmahera forest, while all BPBD personnel had been prepared to conduct a search with the Basarnas Tobelo Team and at around 24.00 WIT, Basarnas Ternate via cell phone said that they had communicated with the nine people and received information that they were in good health.
