Encourage TKDN To 100 Percent By 2030, Check Out The PLN Group's Department Of Increased TKDN Electricity In Indonesia
JAKARTA - As PLN's effort to contribute to boosting the national economy through the use of domestic products, PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) targets the number of TKDN in each electricity project to reach 100 percent by 2030.
"We at PLN Nusantara Power have a roadmap for later in 2030 we have to reach 100 percent TKDN," said PLN Nusantara Power TKDN Team Chair Hariyadi Krismoyanto in a statement to the media, Saturday, November 26.
Hariyadi explained that this great commitment is to help the government increase national production and utilization, which ultimately has an impact on increasing industrial efficiency.
"Thus, the national industry will continue to grow to be able to compete in the global market," he said.
In addition, increasing TKDN can also create job opportunities, as well as saving foreign exchange due to reduced dependence on foreign products.
Various efforts have been made by PLN Nusantara Power to pursue this target. In 2022, PLN Nusantara Power ratifies strategic policy guidelines for the use of domestic products as the basis for running the TKDN improvement program at PLN NP. Then instill an understanding of the need for the use of domestic products in generating activities.
"And finally, the use of the PLN NP Group workshop to serve internal needs," he added.
Not only PLN NP, PLN Indonesia Power (PLN IP) is also committed to the success of the national energy transition program by continuing to increase the capacity of EBT generators, while still paying attention to TKDN.
"PLN will continue to collaborate with various parties for the availability of clean and sustainable energy for all Indonesian people," said EVP Research Innovation Engineering PLN Indonesia Power Suparlan.
One example is what Indonesia Power does through the Lambur Hydro Micro Power Plant (PLTM) in Pekalongan, Central Java. The generator with a capacity of 2x4 megawatts (MW) has a TKDN rate of 81.64 percent.
"The figure of 81.64 percent of TKDN is extraordinary. Of course we are not alone. This is our collaboration with domestic projects and businesses. Thank you related parties who can support so that TKDN 81.64 percent," explained Suparlan.
Not only in terms of generation, PLN Group also encourages TKDN in terms of transmission and electricity distribution. Such as cable materials supplied by one of the PLN partners where TKDN materials for high-voltage Air Line transmission (SUTT) 150-500 kV reached 70.06 percent and 150 kV High Voltage Cable Channels (SKTT) which reached 87.69 percent.
Meanwhile, TKDN distribution materials such as the 20 kV Medium Voltage Air Line (SUTM) which reached 98.04 percent and the 20 kV Medium Voltage Cable Channel (SKTM) reached 83.95 percent. Likewise, for TKDN Low Voltage Cable Channels (SKTR) 1 kV reached 99.82 percent and Low Voltage Air Channels (SUTR) 1 kV reached 95.65 percent.
