JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received the fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccination or the second booster.

"And can stop the transmission of COVID-19 from people to people, this is the most important thing. Then the vaccine used this morning is the Indovac vaccine, a domestic 100 percent product," said Jokowi.
The Indovac vaccine is known to have gone through clinical trials and has received an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM).
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin at the same location also said booster vaccination was very important because COVID-19 cases in hospitals were increasing.
"The COVID-19 cases that were admitted to the hospital and the cases were classified as moderate and severe, 74 percent had not been boosted. For cases that died, in the last wave 84 percent had not been boosted, so for the public please remind them to quickly boost them," said Budi Gunadi.
According to the Minister of Health, only 66 million of the 234 million targets have carried out booster vaccinations.
"Especially for health workers and the elderly over 60, immediately do a second booster and don't forget to use the booster Indovac because it has proven very effective, not inferior to foreign production," said the Minister of Health.
