Present 6 Witnesses, KPK Prosecutor Korek Proses SNMPTN At The Unila Rector's Budget Case Session

JAKARTA - The follow-up trial of the alleged bribery case for accepting new students at the Lampung State University (Unila) with the defendant Andi Desfiandi continues today, Wednesday, November 23.

KPK prosecutor Agung Satrio Wibobo said his party presented six witnesses in the trial held at the Tanjungkarang Class IA District Court (PN) Bandar Lampung.

"To the defendant Andi Desfiandi, come forward in the trial of witness examination," Agung said in court.

The six witnesses who attended were Prof. Tjitjik Sri Tjahjandarie as Acting Secretary of the Directorate General of Higher Education and Lecturer Universitas Airlangga Surabaya; Fatah Sulaiman as the Independent Student Admission Committee for BKN TPN-West; and Dr. Nizamuddin from Syiah Kuala University as the Technical Implementer of Independent Acceptance.

Furthermore, Prof. Yulianto as Deputy Chancellor (Warek) of Unila for Student Affairs and Alumni; Prof. Dyah Wulan SR Wardani as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Unila; and Budi Sutomo as Head of the Unila Bureau of Planning and Public Relations.

"Today, all six witnesses are present," said Agung.

The KPK prosecutor first asked witness Prof. Tjitjik Sri Tjahjandarie regarding the coordination and supervision of universities and the conditions for entering the National Selection for State Universities (SNMPTN).

In this case, the KPK has named four suspects for alleged bribery for accepting new students in Unila in 2022. The determination of this suspect began with a hand arrest operation carried out in Lampung, Bandung, and Bali.

The suspects involved in this case are the Chancellor of the University of Lampung 2020-2024 Karomani; Vice Chancellor I for Academic Affairs of Lampung University Heryandi; Senate Chair of Lampung University Muhammad Basri; and private Andi Desfiandi.
