Cianjur Hospital Still Handling Earthquake Victims As Many As 86 People
JAKARTA - The Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Sayang Cianjur, West Java, stated that 86 patients were victims of the earthquake on the third day, Wednesday, November 23. Plt. President Director of the Sayang Cianjur Hospital Darmawan Setiabudhi Dahlan said that from the first day after the earthquake, his party handled as many as 656 earthquake victims. However, some have been referred to other (RS) hospitals or sent home because they are healthy. "So some were referred to 11 hospitals, namely to RSHS Bandung, Sukabumi Hospital, Samsudin Hospital, Ujungberung Hospital, Santosa Hospital, Boromeus Hospital, Ciawi Hospital, and others, all 11 hospitals," said Darmawan at Cianjur Hospital.
In addition, as many as 112 patients died at the Cianjur Hospital while undergoing medical treatment.
The remaining patients are still being treated outside the Cianjur Hospital building using a tent. Because, his party is waiting to check the feasibility of the building that will be carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. Even so, according to him, the Cianjur Hospital has reopened public service policies to people who want treatment. However, he said, not all public service policies have opened. "Only six days ago, but soon everything will be opened, and in the meantime, it will be in a tent first," Darmawan said as quoted by Antara.
The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) stated that the earthquake in Cianjur caused 268 fatalities. Of these 122 of them have been identified. In addition, there are 151 people who are still being searched because they are declared missing. Then there were 1,083 people injured and 58,362 people in the evacuation.
