Bank Mandiri Makes Operations In Cianjur Keep Normal

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk monitors that there is no significant damage at its branch office in the West Java operational area due to an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 in Cianjur Regency.

Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Rudi Asaturridha ensured that all Bank Mandiri banking services including digital services would continue to run normally.

"The impact of the earthquake on Bank Mandiri's network in the Cianjur area, West Java is minor. All operations continue to run normally and are ready to provide banking services to customers and the community optimally," said Rudi in a statement to the media, Tuesday, November 22.

In facilitating the needs of public financial transactions, Bank Mandiri has also ensured that digital services such as Livin' by Mandiri, SMS Banking, and e-channels such as ATMs and CRM operate optimally.

Rudi further added that Bank Mandiri has also implemented the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) by distributing 4,000 food packages since Monday, November 21 to the affected communities.

Bank Mandiri together with the Regional Government and Mandrian on duty have also distributed ready-to-eat food and basic necessities.

Bank Mandiri is concerned and saddened by the loss of life in the natural disaster that occurred in Cianjur. We are quickly trying to distribute aid to earthquake victims in Cianjur and its surroundings. We will continue to distribute this assistance in the next few days," he continued.

Bank Mandiri also provides and distributes assistance to children and pregnant women affected by the earthquake in Cianjur. Such as milk for pregnant women, formula milk, diapers, as well as assistance for public kitchen posts in the form of Rice, Instant Mie, Sarden, and mineral water.

In addition, Bank Mandiri also provided clean water supply assistance along with suction operations for portable toilets, 10 water reservoirs and five portable toilets, two command tents, two scout tents.
