JAKARTA - The condition of the latest electricity network in Cianjur Regency after the earthquake has returned to normal. This was revealed by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) regarding the latest developments after the Cianjur earthquake.
"The electricity line is on. The urgent needs for the victims consisted of tarpaulins, tents, medical supplies, blankets, basic necessities, clean water, drinking water, suitable clothes to wear, baby equipment, elderly equipment, velbeds, heavy equipment and fuel oil (BBM)," said Acting Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Abdul Muhari when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, November 22.
In addition, continued Abdul Muhari, the Cianjur Regency BPBD has established an emergency response status (TD) for earthquake natural disasters, through the decision of the Cianjur Regent Number: 360/KEP.376-BPBD/2022. "Earthquake emergency response status is set for 30 days, from November 21 to December 20, 2022," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the Acting Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Abdul Muhari released the latest data on victims of the 5.6 magnitude earthquake in Cianjur Regency, West Java Province, Tuesday, November 22.
"Total korban jiwa 103 orang meninggal dunia, 31 orang hilang, 377 orang luka-luka, 1 orang luka berat, 1 orang luka sedang, 11 orang luka ringan," kata Abdul Muhari saat dikonfirmasi VOI, Selasa, 22 November, siang.
In addition to the fatalities of more than a hundred people, BNPB also mentioned that 661 heads of families (KK) were affected and 7,064 people were forced to flee due to the Cianjur earthquake. "103 people died as residents of Cianjur Regency who were in Rancagoong Village, Cilaku District and Limbangsari Village, Cianjur District. Meanwhile, data collection is still being carried out in Cugenang District," he explained.
