Working On Two Development Stages At Sanglah Bali Hospital IDR 294.2 Billion, Hutama Karya Accelerates Work With BIM Technology

JAKARTA - Entering the end of 2022, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) accelerated the acceleration of all projects to be on time. One of them is the construction of the Central General Hospital Aesthetic Center (RSUP) Sanglah in Denpasar, Bali, which has now reached 50 percent and has been topping off in early November. Operations Director II Hutama Karya Gunadi, said that this RSUP project has the rest of the work including finishing facilities using the concept of Balinese culture, installation of plaphonds, installation of floors, construction of roof steel, as well as electrical installations, mechanics and plumbing. Gunadi said that Hutama Karya made acceleration efforts on this project worth Rp123.2 billion with the addition of human resources and heavy equipment, where the project construction period was briefly targeted to be completed at the end of December 2022. "We also maximized the use of building information modeling technology (BIM) which provided significant benefits so that volume calculations became more accurate and schedulements were more controlled so that they could be completed on time," said Gunadi, in an official statement, Tuesday, November 22. Hutama Karya also won the project owner's trust to continue the second stage work at Sanglah Hospital, namely the construction of the Women's and Children's Health Service Building. Previously, contract signing was carried out on Friday, October 28 between the President Director of Sangah I Wayan Hospital and Plt. Executive Vice President (EVP) Building Division, Nyoman Endi Mahendra at Sanglah Hospital, Bali.

Gunadi said the Rp171 billion project is a Non Joint Operation (NJO) project where Hutama Karya will work on the main work starting from structural work; architecture; mechanical, electrical, electronic, and piping to landscape.

With this note, the two stages of Sanglah Hospital construction project undertaken by Hutama Karya is worth a total of IDR 294.2 billion. "In stage 1 we built the Aesthetic Center, and in stage two we built the Mother and Child Health Service Building. In the process, we will again optimize the implementation of BIM. This building will have an area of 18.226.7 m2 with a total of six floors consisting of B1, 1-4 floors and the last one on the roof," said Gunadi.

In the construction of the health services of the mother and child of Sanglah Hospital, Hutama Karya will apply finishing with Balinese nuances, such as the use of a takeover, namely the base in the form of rocks that lengthen as a place for the application, put, stick and carpentry of rigidity ornament motifs. In addition, Murda will use the roof, where Murda is a symbol for the owners of the house or in trust, expecting safety with certain motives. "The construction period of this project is for 390 calendar days with an estimate of completion by the end of November 2023," said Gunadi.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said this project aims to improve the availability, accessibility, and quality of maternal and child health services. In addition, this project is also an effort by the Ministry of Health in improving the health quality of mothers and children, because most of the deaths of a mother are caused by great bleeding and hypertension. "This condition can actually be prevented for all mothers through proper medical care. It is very important to improve health services in maternal and child health facilities," said Budi.
