Impact Of The Cianjur Earthquake, The Wall Of The Apartment In Ancol Rentak
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) noted that the walls of one of the apartment buildings in the Ancol area, North Jakarta cracked due to an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 occurred in Cianjur, West Java.
"The impact of the earthquake in Cianjur is that there is one object affected, namely Ancol Mansion. cracks were found at several points in the building," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji to reporters, Monday, November 21.
Isnawa said there were no victims and refugees as a result of the crack in the building in Ancol Mansion and other areas in Jakarta. The value of the losses from this rift is still being calculated.
"It seems that there is no significant damage information for Jakarta. It seems that those affected by the hopes of Cianjur, Cimahi, and Bandung areas are like that," said Isnawa.
For information, there was an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 with a depth of 10 kilometers at 13.21 WIB today.
Acting Head of the BMKG Earthquake and Tsunami Center Daryono explained that this earthquake was located at coordinates 6.86 degrees South Latitude - 07.01 degrees East Longitude, or precisely located on land in the Sukalarang area, Sukabumi, West Java.
"By paying attention to the location of the epicenter and the depth of the hypocenter, the earthquake that occurred was a shallow type of earthquake due to Cimandiri fault activity. The results of the analysis of the source mechanism show that the earthquake has a sliding mechanism (strike-slip)," said Daryono.
Recently, the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) recorded 56 deaths from the Cianjur earthquake. In detail, 40 children and the rest are adults.
"There were 120 people who were recorded as injured and dead," said Ujang in Cianjur, West Java, as quoted by Antara.
