The Mother In North Nias Who Killed Her Three Children Tried To Commit Suicide, Now Dies Of Illness

MEDAN - The woman with the initials MT (30) who had the heart to kill her three biological children in Namohalu Esiwa District, North Nias, North Sumatra, died. MT died while receiving treatment at the hospital.

Nias Police Chief AKBP Wawan Iriawan through Nias Police Public Relations Officer Aiptu Yadsen F Hulu said the suspect died due to illness.

"Because he did not want to eat and drink, the suspect then vomited, so he had to be rushed to the hospital and eventually died," he said as quoted by Antara, Sunday, December 13.

Yadsen said that MT was also treated at the Gunung Sitoli Regional Hospital for an incision in the neck after trying to commit suicide on Thursday, December 10 at around 00.30 WIB.

After receiving medical treatment, MT was then brought back to the Nias Police Reskrim PPA Unit for questioning.

"The suspect had committed suicide shortly after the murder he committed to three victims who were his biological children by slashing their own necks with machetes. However, this intention failed, because the husband was not saved and only sustained injuries to the front of the neck," he explained. .

However, on Friday, December 11 at around 21.00 WIB, the suspect MT started complaining about pain in his stomach. He was taken to the Bethesda Gunung Sitoli Hospital for outpatient care.

The next day MT again complained of pain in his stomach, so he was immediately taken to Gunung Sitoli Regional Hospital.

"Then the suspect was hospitalized. But on Sunday at around 06.10 WIB the suspect was finally pronounced dead by the picket general practitioner at Gunung Sitoli Regional Hospital," said Yadsen.

Previously, MT was arrested by the police on Wednesday, December 9 after committing the crime of murdering three of his own biological children.

The three victims had the initials YL (5), SL (4) and DL (2). The three of them were killed when the whole family went to the TPS to vote in the Pilkada of North Nias.
