The Search For 2 Grandpa's Days In The Alioka Konawe Forest With Sweet Fruits
The joint SAR team finally found a grandfather named Muhammad Amin (65), who was reported missing in the forest of Alioka, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, Saturday, November 19 in a safe condition.
"It has been found, the joint SAR team found the victim safe after two days of search operations," said Head of the Kendari Basarnas Aris Sofingi in Kendari, Monday, November 21, quoted by Antara.
He conveyed that the search for victims who are residents of Labibia Subdistrict, Konawe Regency involved a joint element of a rescue team from the Kendari Search and Rescue Office (KPP), members of the Labibia Police, Unit K9 Polda Sultra, the surrounding community and the families of the victims.
The search for victims was carried out by dividing into two teams, where Team 1 conducted a 2 km sweep from the east side of the victim's location which was reported missing. Meanwhile, Team 2 conducted a search covering an area of 1.9 km from the west side of the location where the victim was reported missing.
"After being found, the victim was then evacuated to the Kendari Korem Hospital using an ambulance belonging to the Labibia Health Center to get further treatment," he said.
He explained that by finding the victim, the SAR operation was declared complete and closed. All elements involved are returned to their respective units.
Previously, on November 19, 2022, at around 08.00 WITA, the victim and his family were reported to have entered the Alioka forest to check the garden belonging to their parents.
But when he was on his way to the location, he did not realize that the victim was separated from the group. The family realized this when the victim's family arrived at the location of the garden in question at around 16.00 WITA.
At that time, the search had been carried out by the family but to no avail, so the incident was reported to the Kendari Basarnas at around 21.20 WITA by the victim's younger brother named Rahmat.
