Update On COVID-19 As Of November 20: New Case 5,172, Sembuh Added 5,690
The COVID-19 Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 48,208 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 5,172 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,608,367 people and active cases have fallen by 549 to 62,179 cases," said COVID-19 Task Force data, Sunday, November 20.
Today's recovered cases increased by 5,690 people, bringing the total to 6,386,809 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 31 cases and a total of 159,379 people.
The province with the most new cases is DKI Jakarta with 2,373 cases and a total of 1,493,936 cases. Followed by West Java which has 801 new cases with a total of 1,207,478 cases. East Java has 578 new cases and a total of 626,533 cases. Banten has 515 new cases and a total of 353,237 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 2,400 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an additional 1,162 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 523 recovered cases, and West Java with an additional 523 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 111,772,509.
"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 20.52 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 3,985 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
Furthermore, currently there are 205,313,420 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 172,240,002 the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 66,136,689 and the fourth dose was 726,373. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
