Adding 14, Positive COVID-19 Patients In Babel Became 92 People
The Bangka Belitung Islands Province COVID-19 Handling Task Force stated that there were 14 COVID-19 patients in the area on Sunday, November 20, bringing the number of people exposed to the coronavirus undergoing self-quarantine to 92 patients.
"Today, there are 14 more COVID-19 cases or more than six recovered patients," said Secretary of the Babel Islands Province COVID-19 Task Force Mikron Antariksa, quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 20.
He said 14 cases of people exposed to COVID-19 were spread across the city of Pangkalpinang eight people, Bangka Regency four people and Central Bangka two cases, while West Bangka, South Bangka, Belitung and East Belitung without the addition of COVID-19 cases.
"Today, there are no patients who died from COVID-19, so the cumulative deaths from this corona virus are 1,636 people," he said.
He stated that with the addition of cases, COVID-19 patients who were still undergoing isolation became 92 people spread across 24 patients in Belitung Regency, Bangka 23 patients, Pangkalpinang 19 patients, West Bangka 12 patients, Central Bangka seven patients, South Bangka and East Belitung five patients each.
"Currently, there are 92 COVID-19 patients or an increase compared to the previous day, Saturday, November 19, as many as 84 patients," he said.
Spokesperson for the Bangka Regency COVID-19 Task Force Boy Yandra appealed to the public to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols such as wearing masks when leaving the house, maintaining distance and washing hands with soap and running water because the threat of the spread of the corona virus is still happening in the community.
"We remind people who are required to get vaccine services at all doses to prepare themselves to register at vaccine service outlets when vaccine stocks are available," he said.
