Visiting The LPSK Building, Victims Of The Impact Tragedy Ask For Protection

JAKARTA - The families of victims of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy accompanied by Arema FC supporters alias Aremania visited the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). They asked for protection from LPSK.

Using a bus unit, the group of dozens of people arrived at the LPSK Building, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, Friday, November 18, at around 14.05 WIB.

It was seen that one of Aremania who was the victim of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy entered the LPSK building with wheelchair mobility tools.

At the LPSK Building, the family of the victims of the Arema tragedy and supporters then held a dialogue regarding the protection of victims.

Deputy Chairperson of the LPSK, Edwin Partogi Pasaribu, explained that the purpose of the victim's family group was related to applying for protection.

"Maybe he wants to apply for protection," said Edwin, quoted by Antara.

Edwin welcomed the group of representatives of the families of the victims of the tragedy. However, he has not been able to convey details regarding the results of the dialogue with the families of the victims of Kanjuruhan Malang.

Previously, football fans of Arema FC club known as Aremania arrived in Jakarta, Thursday, November 17. They demanded justice for the Kanguruhan Tragedy which killed 133 people on October 1, 2022.

Aremania's Coordinator, Andi Candra, said that the first two Aremania group buses had arrived in Jakarta. The plan is that there will still be two other buses following Jakarta.

"We came to Jakarta to ask for justice for the tragedy of Kanjuruhan. We are here to accompany the families of the injured and dead and witnesses as well," said Andi Candra at the Jakarta State University Campus, Rawamangun, Jakarta, Thursday, November 17.

Andi said the arrival of Aremania's entourage to Jakarta would also visit a number of parties who could help meet their demands.

"We will report to parties such as Komnas HAM, the Ombudsman, the National Commission for Child Protection, as well as LPSK," he said.
