SSI Survey: Only 6 Political Parties Escape Parliament If The Pileg Is Held Today
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Survey Scale (SSI) released the results of the vote acquisition for political parties (political parties) regarding the 2024 general election (Pemilu). Meanwhile, other political parties whose votes are still below the 4 percent threshold for the parliamentary threshold," said the Executive Director of SSI, Abdul Hakim, in a survey release, Friday, November 18.When compared to the results of the 2019 Legislative Election, only 6.4 percent of the party received additional votes from the Gerindra Party, from 12.6 percent of the votes in the 2019 legislative elections to 19.0 percent of the votes in this survey.Meanwhile, other political parties experienced a decline in votes when compared to the results of the 2019 Legislative Election. The most votes experienced by PKB reached 7.8 percent, from 9.7 percent of the votes in the 2019 Election fell to 1.9 percent in this survey."Meanwhile, the PDI-P has experienced a decline in vote of 1.0 percent, from 19.3 percent to 18.3 percent of the vote this time," he said.Then the Golkar Party experienced a decline in votes of 3.4 percent, from 12.3 percent to 8.9 percent. Democrats experienced a decline in votes of 1.5 percent, from 7.8 percent to 6.3 percent.Then PKS experienced a 2.4 percent decline in votes, from 8.2 percent to 5.8 percent. The NasDem Party experienced a 3.9 percent decline in votes, from 9.0 percent to 5.1 percent.Finally, PPP experienced a decline in votes of 2.2 percent, from 4.5 percent to 2.3 percent. PAN experienced a decrease in vote of 5.1 percent, from 6.8 percent to 1.7 percent of the vote this time."Nevertheless, currently there are 29.0 percent of voters who have not decided on a choice. The composition of the votes acquired by political parties is very likely to change if the votes that have not decided have a choice," said Abdul Hakim.The SSI survey was conducted on November 6-12 2022 through face-to-face interviews with respondents using questionnaires in 34 provinces in Indonesia.The number of respondents was 1,200 people aged 16 years and over or married. The survey method uses multistage random sampling with a margin of error +/- 2.83 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
