The Philippines Dominates the Victory in the Grand Final of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2022
JAKARTA - The Grand Final of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2022, Tokyo, Japan which was attended by 30 esports teams from all over the Asia - Pacific region has been completed on November 11-13.
The first physical competition in three years that took place lively was broadcast through various broadcasting channels and witnessed by many esports fans around the world.
The winning team of the Dota 2 and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS tournaments received a total prize pool of USD 260.000 (IDR 405 million), as well as taking home the Predator Shield.

The struggle of the Macan Semeru Team in the 2022 Predator League Grand Final
Unfortunately, the Macan Semeru team, which represents Indonesia for the Dota and PUBG games, still failed to achieve the best results at the 2022 Asia-Pacific Predator League Grand Final.
The Semeru Macan Team's game managed to collect a lot of total kills on the first day, but stiff competition from other national teams on the second and third days made the points achievement not optimal.
By collecting 66 total points during the tournament session, the Semeru Tigers finished 9th in the standings.
Meanwhile, the Semeru Dota 2 Tiger Team from Indonesia managed to win over Yangon Galacticos in the first round of the lower bracket. Even the Semeru Tigers' victory was marked by a captivating comeback.
However, in the second round, the DOTA2 Macan Semeru Team had to concede the victory to the team from the Philippines, Execration, which took place in the Best of one (BO1) system.

The next Asia-Pacific Predator League Grand Final will be held in the Philippines and returns to its original tournament format. Starting with qualifiers in the second half of 2023, followed by a grand final in early 2024.
