Netflix Launches Shuffle Play Feature To Simplify Customers

JAKARTA - Netflix inaugurated the Shuffle Play feature for subscribers to make it easier to watch content in the application.

The demand for a Shuffle Play button resonated on social media and Netflix finally made the wish come true. Shuffle Play is a feature where Netflix will play content according to customer interests taken from viewing history.

This content is in the form of television shows, series, or films that Netflix users have never seen before.

This feature is available under the Home feature and the Netflix customer profile icon so those who lack recommendations can press the feature.

The presence of this feature has been mixed up by users. One hand, they feel the benefits because they get recommendations according to their interests. But on the other hand, they question the usefulness of the Shuffle Play feature on Netflix.

"By pressing the Shuffle Play feature, I hope to be able to watch content other than the most popular series you have," wrote a Netflix user.

Netflix tried this feature for the first time in 2019 through the Android application system then they started developing it and it was inaugurated this month. Netflix also provides a feature to turn off autoplay previews, which is when the teaser for the next episode is shown automatically.
