Rizieq On A Swab Test Before Being Examined By The Police, The Result Is Negative
JAKARTA - High Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab conducted a swab test before being examined at Polda Metro Jaya as a suspect in a health protocol violation case.
Based on the photo received by VOI, Rizieq is seen sitting in the room next to the General Secretary of FPI Munarman. In addition, the photo also shows a police doctor wearing a white personal protective suit and various swab test kits on the table.
Head of the Public Relations Division of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said that his party had indeed carried out a swab test on Rizieq as a procedure for preventing health protocols.
Yusri said the results of the swab test were negative and Rizieq is currently undergoing examination as a suspect.
"It is negative (the result, red) and is currently carrying out an examination as a suspect," said Yusri when confirmed by reporters, Saturday, December 12.
It is known, Rizieq arrived at the location at around 10:24 WIB. He came with a number of people including the General Secretary of FPI Munarman in a silver Mitsubishi Pajero.
Before entering the General Criminal Directorate Building of Polda Metro Jaya, Rizieq admitted that he was ready to undergo examination in accordance with the applicable laws and in good health.
In the case of violation of the health protocol, Polda Metro Jaya has named Habib Rizieq a suspect in the alleged violation of the health protocol. In addition, there were five other people who were also named suspects in the alleged violation of protocol at Habib Rizieq's celebration.
The five people referred to are Haris Ubaidillah as committee chairman, Ali bin Alwi Alatas (committee secretary), Maman Suryadi (FPI commander and security officer), Sobri Lubis (person in charge of the event), and Idrus (head of the event section).
Rizieq was charged with Articles 160 and 216 of the Criminal Code. Article 160 of the Criminal Code concerning Incitement to Violence and Not Complying with the provisions of the law, with the threat of six years imprisonment or a fine of IDR 4,500.
Meanwhile, Article 216 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code concerning Obstacles to Legal Provisions. The threat is imprisonment for four months and two weeks or a fine of Rp. 9,000.
Meanwhile, for the other five people, the police applied Article 93 of Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine.
