Synopsis Of The Prom, Ryan Murphy's Musical Movie On Netflix

JAKARTA - Ryan Murphy's latest film, The Prom was released on Friday, December 11, United States time.

The Prom tells of Dee Dee Allen (Meryl Streep) and Barry Glickman (James Corden), New York City stage stars who experience a financial crisis because their Broadway stage is not successful.

Meanwhile, in the city of Indiana, a high school student, Emma Nolan (Jo Ellen Pellman), who is heartbroken, is forbidden by her school principal to come to a prom with her boyfriend, Alyssa (Ariana DeBose).

Dee Dee and Barry find Emma Nolan and think that Nolan can raise their reputation. Together with Angie (Nicole Kidman) and Trent (Andrew Rannells), they seek meaning in life in the entertainment industry.

The film The Prom stars a number of Hollywood actors and actresses who perform dancing and singing acts. The Prom is an adaptation of the Broadway musical by Chad Beguelin, Bob Marin, and Matthew Sklar.

His original musical received six Tony Awards nominations in 2019. A simple but entertaining story is the main attraction of The Prom.
