Airing Today, Sri Asih Film Responds To Pevita Pearce's Welfare

JAKARTA - Sri Asih's film starts showing in theaters today, Thursday, November 17. Sri Asih is the first female superhero or adisatria in Indonesia created by RA Kosasih nicknamed the Father of Indonesian Comics. She has powerful strength, even including the toughest athlete in Jagat Bumilangit.

Sri Asih's strength was passed down from generation to generation, until finally it was owned by Alana (Pevita Pearce), a child born along with the eruption of a volcano that claimed the lives of his two biological parents.

Alana, who has had special powers since childhood, was raised by a adopted mother who trained her to become a professional fighter. He is good at launching deadly punches that make his opponents fall. At the same time, Alana is also trained to continue to control emotions and anger that can pose a danger to those around her.

His life turned upside down when a child of respected person, Mateo (Randy Pangalila), challenged Alana to fight. A mysterious man named Kala (Dimas Anggara) apparently paid attention to Alana's movements and helped her to know the secret behind her strength since childhood.

After receiving strength from Sri Asih, Alana faced people who were endangering her mother's life while trying to prevent those who tried to revive evil forces in the face of Earth. With the help of his colleagues, including reporters named Tangguh (Jefri Nichol), a childhood friend who wanted to reveal the facts behind these unreasonable incidents, Alana had to face an unexpected enemy to save a thousand innocent people whose lives were at stake.

For Pevita Pearce, the Sri Asih film is the answer to the actress's anxiety so far. "In my opinion, Alana's character is the answer to my worries all this time. I feel like drama already, horror already, especially those that haven't? Oh, action that hasn't yet," Pevita was quoted as saying by ANTARA.

After knowing the concept of the film Sri Asih, Pevita asked for time to prepare for 1.5 years and be accompanied by Uwais Team, a team from the action actor Iko Uwais who made the action choreography in this film.

Pevita said the whole scene felt challenging because she had absolutely no basis for self-defense. However, all these challenges can be faced thanks to the support of all parties, including the team that injected self-confidence that he could play Sri Asih.
